I am very grateful that the Greater KW Chamber of Commerce was able to host a physician recruitment weekend.
This weekend visit definitely sealed the decision for my husband and me to move to Kitchener-Waterloo.
The weekend was very informative, well organized and everyone involved was genuinely interested in welcoming and supporting incoming physicians and their families.
My husband and I were very impressed.
Thank you!

I am so happy I chose to practice in Kitchener-Waterloo. It is a lovely community and so welcoming.
When I came for my community visit from Thunder Bay I was very hesitant. I did not have very good experiences in some other communities. However when I came here I was pleasantly surprised. Everything was arranged so meticulously.
Mary Sue is a warm person and she made me and my family so welcome. The doctors here are wonderful and they welcomed me so warmly. It was a fantastic experience.
I can honestly say that my decision to practice here was due to the very warm welcome I received.

The Greater KW Chamber’s physician recruitment effort has been very helpful to our medical community. It has assisted and welcomed physicians who may not otherwise know our community.
Graduates of many programs, including our own local one, are very appreciative of the efforts shown by the Chamber and has left many with the impression that KW cares.
Since our local program was started in 2005, 70% of our family medicine graduates are practicing within the Waterloo-Wellington LHIN. We hope that the Chamber is able to continue its efforts.
